We are planning to offer additional pop-up walks to our normal programme of walks and social events. This will provide evening walks in the summer (July-Sept), which will start and finish near a pub. For the rest of the year, the pop-up walks could be at any time, weekdays or weekends, and could be of any length. Pop-Up walks are shown with a blue text heading and box below.

Sunday, 18th January. Saltram. Long Walk, 7 miles. Medium. Hardwick Wood and Saltram circular (some ascent in Hardwick Wood).
Leader: Dave B Start at 10am NT Saltram House CP (fee for non-members). Gather at the duckpond. Toilets at the start. Depending on the weather, there are cut-offs. |

Tuesday, 20th January. Central Park. Mini Walk, 2 miles. Easy. Walk around Central Park. Re-arranged walk that was cancelled on January 13th.
Leader: Muriel Start at 10am in front of the Life Centre. Park at Milehouse Park & Ride. |

Sunday, 1st February. Brixton. Short Walk, 5 miles. Medium. Lanes and estuary walk. Brixton, Winston & the Yealm estuary.
Leader: Sandie Start at 10am Winston Road.Brixton. Park in Road. From Plymstock, take the A379 through Brixton. At the end of the village turn right into Winston Road. |

Sunday, 8th February. Buckland Monochorum, Berra Tor. Pop-Up Walk, 6 miles. Medium. Garden House (hopefully snowdrops), Buckland Monochorum. Coppice Town, Berra Tor and Long Ash.
Mostly easy going footpaths and quiet lanes.

Start at 10am from Pound Corner near Yelverton. SX 507 689. what3words: ///pavilions.ulterior.sprouts.
From Plymouth, take the first left at the Yelverton roundabout towards Tavistock. After 1/2 mile, turn left signed Long Ash. Go over the cattle grid and continue for 1/4 mile. The car park is on the right.

Tuesday, 10th February. Radford. Mini Walk, 2.5 miles. Easy. Linear walk through Radford, Hooe and Turnchapel. Return by bus to Radford.
Leader: Sandie Start at 10am, at the car park in Radford Dip, Plymstock. Take the Hooe road out of Plymstock. After a steep downhill, turn right at Mayers Way to the car park or park opposite in White Lady Rd. |

Sunday, 15th February. Mountbatten & Barbican. Long Walk, 6 miles. Easy. Coastal path. Urban walk from Mountbatten, Turnchapel, Oreston. Over Laira bridge, Cattedown & Barbican. Ferry back to Mountbatten.
Leaders: Diane & Alun Start 10am. Car park by Mountbatten breakwater. Grid Ref 485 533. Go through Plymstock & Hooe and follow signs to Mountbatten. Toilets at Morrisons. |

Sunday, 22nd February. Ernesettle. Long Walk, 6.5 miles. Moderate. Bus ride to Lakeside Ernesettle, Budeshead Woods, West Park & Honicknowle area & back to Central Park. Some steep ups, mainly on pavements, No toilets or stiles.
Leaders: Cheryl & Arthur Park by 9.45am at the Park & Ride Central Park.then proceed to catch the 10am No 43 bus from Milehouse depot.(bring bus pass). There will be opportunities to make a shorter walk by catching a return bus en route. |

Sunday, 15th March. Bellever. Long Walk, 6.5 miles. Medium. Bellever Forest, Laughter Tor, Dunnabridge Pound.
Leader: Izzy. Start at 10am. Postbridge car park (payment by cash or phone). Grid Ref 647789. From Yelverton R/A take the B3212 towards Princetown. Carry straight on. Turn Right at the B3357, then left on to the B3212 to Postbridge. Car park & toilets are on the left. |

Sunday, 29th March. Tavistock Canal. Short Walk, 5 miles. Easy. Tavistock Canal & Millhill. A pleasant walk along the canal tow path and lanes to the west of Tavistock.
Leader: Brian. Start at 10am, Bedford car park,Tavistock. Grid Ref 481741. From Plymouth, turn right at Drakes statue and down Plymouth Rd. Turn right into Canal Wharf to Bedford car park. |

Sunday, 12th April. Ringmore & Bigbury. Short Walk, 5 miles. Medium. Start at 10am from the Ayrmer Cove NT car park at Ringmore. Grid Ref 649456. From the A379 take the road towards Bigbury (B3392). At St Anne’s Chapel, turn right and follow the signs to Ringmore.
Leader: Pam. Coastal & country walk by footpaths from Ringmore to Bigbury & return via Ayrmer Cove. |

Leader: Derek. Start 10am at Otter Garden Centre, Brixton. Grid Ref 523542. Take the A379 towards Brixton. After Rogers Garage, take the first right. Coffee in Otter after. |

Sunday, 19th April. Dartmouth. Long Walk, 6 miles. Moderate. Dartmouth.
Leaders: Jacci & John. Start 10am Dartmouth Castle. Walk to Bayards Cove, Ferry to Kingswear. Hoodown Woods to Kingswear Creek for lunch. Return to the lower ferry & back to the cars. Car share recommended. More details nearer the date. |
