This will take place at a local venue in Plymouth, usually with a meal to follow.

MARCH

QUIZ NIGHT

A very popular quiz night on general knowledge with some local questions. Organised by Laurence and Blodwen with their special audio visual show. Everyone gathers in teams and the winners at the end get a box of smarties (or the equivalent).

SPRING HOLIDAY

These holidays take place in areas beyond our normal walking range. The trip usually lasts 4 days with a stay in a hotel for 3 nights. Daily walks are provided by Plym Ramblers' leaders.

ANNUAL BARBECUE

This is an afternoon activity starting with a walk and concluding with a well-earned barbecue. This event always takes place by a village hall in various locations so that we can use the hall facilities. If the weather is unsuitable for outside we can move into the hall.  

SEPTEMBER

AUTUMN HOLIDAY

We arrange a residential holiday which is usually for 4 nights and is provided by HF holidays. There willl usually be gentle guided walks. HF discounts apply.

OCTOBER 

AGM & POT LUCK SUPPER

Always worth attending. Held at the Plymstock Community Centre, Plymstock.

Bring your own drink and some food to share.

DECEMBER

CHRISTMAS WALK AND LUNCH

This annual event brings everyone together to enjoy a morning walk followed by lunch in a local pub or restaurant.

This year there will be a short walk (4.5 miles, Easy) at Plym Bridge and Cann Woods followed by our Christmas meal at the Boringdon Golf Club.

Meet at 10.00 in the NT car park on the east side of Plym Bridge. From Marsh Mills R/A take the B3416 towards Plympton. Turn left after the Asda garage into Larkham Lane. At the top of Larkham Lane, turn left into Plymbridge Road and continue to the bridge.
